French Toast
Ingredients
8 thick cut slices of bread
4 eggs
2/3 cup milk (or half-and-half)
2 tbsp maple syrup (or sugar)
2 tbsp aged rum (or 1 tsp vanilla)
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp kosher salt
Directions
Whisk ingredients together in a large bowl.
Soak (don't dip) bread in egg mixture.
Brown bread in skillet.
