French Toast
Ingredients
- 8 thick cut slices of bread
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup milk (or half-and-half)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup (or sugar)
- 2 tbsp aged rum (or 1 tsp vanilla)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
Directions
- Whisk ingredients together in a large bowl.
- Soak (don't dip) bread in egg mixture.
- Brown bread in skillet.
