Stir Fry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce (or Tamari if gluten free)

  • 1/2 cup chicken stock (or vegetable broth if vegan)

  • 2 tsp honey (or agave nectar if vegan)

  • 1 tsp sesame seed oil

  • 2 tsp rice vinegar

  • 2" piece of ginger, peeled and grated or finely minced (or 1 tbsp ginger paste)

  • 2 garlic cloves, grated or finely minced

  • 1 tbsp corn starch (or arrow root)

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients through to garlic. Whisk together.

  2. In a small bowl, combine cornstarch with 1/4 cup sauce. Stir until thoroughly blended. Mix cornstarch slurry into the rest of the sauce.

Notes

  • Yield: Enough sauce for 4 servings of stir fry.
